Making the Clackity Noise →
Last week, some friends and myself went to see Rob Bell speak about creativity. But more specifically, creativity that stems from suffering.
One of the points he made was that God uses suffering to create by elimination. And to illustrate that point, he handed out bars of soap to us and showed us pictures of sculptures that others made from their soap. His point was that there were rabbits or...
Ten reasons why I love Wiener and Still Champion
Gus has a twitter feed where he announces special things that he’s going to make.
We’re not talking about just any old hot dog. These are the best straight up Chicago style dogs in the city/suburbs (yes, even better than Hot Dougs).

Dipping Dogs. We’re talking hand dipped corn dogs in the best corn bread batter...
My brother sent me this forward. Not sure where it came from, but I thought it was rather hilarious.
Random Thoughts of the Day:
I wish Google Maps had an “Avoid Ghetto” routing option.

First they screamed at the AARP guy—even though AARP hadn’t taken a stance on the bill. But they yelled that they had been sold out, apparently because this guy was facilitating the townhall meeting.

We'll Know When We Get There: Sincerely, John... →
An absolutely touching story of someone who asked John Hughes to be her pen pal.
“As for your English teacher…Do you like the way you write? Please yourself. I’m rather fond of writing. I actually regard it as fun. Do it frequently and see if you can’t find the fun in it that I do.”
My friend @LaMontenegro calls raising awareness slacktivism. I’m certainly...
